Sunday School

Summer Sunday School is now in session! A one-room Sunday school will be offered each Sunday during the 10:00 am worship. The curriculum is aimed at children 2nd grade and below, so children 3rd grade and above are encouraged to remain in worship with their families

Adventures in Faith is an offering of three summer events that include fun, fellowship and learning. All members of the congregation are invited and encouraged to attend, and all events will be family-friendly.

Adventures in Faith is new way to think about connecting with your church and your family during the dog days of summer. Each event will take place at an interesting location around the Twin Cities and each event will have a theme from John Wesley’s Three Simple Rules for Christian Living – do no harm; do good; and stay in love with God.

You are encouraged to participate in all three events, but if that doesn’t work with your schedule, please come as you are able!

First Event	Friday, July 16 at 6:30 pm
Theme	Do No Harm
Location	Camp Sacajewea Retreat Center

Camp Sacajewea Retreat Center is an incredible facility in a beautiful setting. Our spiritual lesson for the evening will focus on the first of John Wesley’s Simple Rules: Do no harm. The evening will include outdoor games, a picnic dinner and even a campfire. For those families with a sense of adventure, we will offer an overnight camping experience at Camp Sacajewea.

Second Event	Sunday, July 25 at 3 pm
Theme	Do Good
Location	Como Park, Zoo, and Conservatory

Our afternoon at Como Park will include a scavenger hunt for all ages on the covering the zoo, the park and the conservatory. Our spiritual lesson for the afternoon will focus on the second of John Wesley’s Simple Rules – Do good.

Third Event	Sunday, August 8 at 2pm
Theme	Stay in Love with God
Location	Padelford River Boats, St. Paul

Our grand-finale event will include a scenic sightseeing cruise aboard a Padelford River Boat on the Mississippi. Our spiritual lesson for the afternoon will focus on the third of John Wesley’s Simple Rules – stay in love with God.
