September 12: Rally Sunday and Blessing of the Backpacks. Our fall schedule begins with Rally Sunday on September 12^th!

September 18: Rummage and Bake Sale, 9am to noon. Plan your fall cleaning around the sale, and bring your good rummage to the church during the week preceding the sale; call the office with questions. Always a favorite neighborhood event, the proceeds benefit mission work of the United Methodist Women.

Annual Church Golf Tournament September 19. Nine-hole 'Best Ball' tournament at Inver Wood Golf Course will be held Sunday, September 19th. Cost: $20 regular adult/ $12.50 for seniors 60+ (payable to Dawn Everling). $6 for a cart (payable to Inver Wood). Tee times begin at 2:32 pm with a potluck reception around 5:00 pm at Knowlton’s nearby clubhouse. Everyone is welcome to come to the party. Sign up sheet in the Fellowship Hall. Questions? Israel Trip. Dates: March 16-26, 2011. The trip focuses on both Israeli points of view and Palestinian life and concerns--the trip of a lifetime. Ages: Open for youth through grandparents. Agility level: able to walk a mile. Curiosity level: high and growing. Trip will be led by Pastor Penny, her husband Eric, and Rev. Terry and Marylou Steeden.
